Options also include both flat and high profile panels (pictured). These high profile panels offersome significant advantages over flat profiles with the W-pan profile creating more structural strength and integrity than flat profiles (as the W-pan profile uses more material per square metre than flat profiles.)
The W-pan profile also offers lesser heat absorption than flat profiles due to the generation of a temperature gradient across the surface. The energy from the sun is incident on the roof at different angles. This sets up small amounts of circulating air profiles on the roof resulting in less heat absorbed by the surface
